"An internship at an NGO like the Tifa Foundation isn’t just about gaining work experience; it’s also about broadening your perspective and developing social awareness."
Kania, a Library Science student at UIN Jakarta, joined and participated in the Tifa Foundation’s Library (Knowledge Center) Revitalization initiative as an Intern Librarian from June through October 2025.
“Kania was interested in joining this internship program because she wanted to gain a deeper understanding of the role of libraries as centers of knowledge in supporting the work of an NGO like the Tifa Foundation. Kania wanted to see firsthand how knowledge and information can contribute to advocacy work, particularly in terms of managing and providing data and literature used for decision-making and program strategy development,” Kania explained when asked why she joined the internship program.
