Research Consultant – Gaps in Protection: Examining the Relevance of Indonesia’s Consumer Protection Regulations Amid the Dominance of Digital Platforms

The Bill to Amend the Consumer Protection Law has officially been included in the 2026 Priority National Legislation Program (Prolegnas) under Commission VI of the Indonesian House of Representatives. Building on this momentum,the Tifa Foundation will examine and map the gaps between the existing consumer protection legal framework and the realityofthe impactof platform power faced byIndonesian consumers on a daily basis, and formulate recommendations for the revision of the Consumer Protection Law that promote a paradigm shift capable of addressing the need for consumer protection regulations in the digital age.

To achieve this goal, the Tifa Foundation is seeking external consultants to assist with research on the above topic. We invite research teams with relevant experience to submit proposals that include:
