Yayasan TIFA, Perhimpunan Pengembangan Media Indonesia, dan Human Rights Working Group Indonesia bergabung untuk mempromosikan keselamatan jurnalis di Indonesia, melalui program Jurnalisme Aman, yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan ekosistem yang aman dan memungkinkan bagi jurnalis untuk mempromosikan kebebasan pers dan memastikan media yang independen.
After five sessions of the House of Representatives, the Personal Data Protection Bill has yet to be passed into law. The absence of a law on personal data runs counter to Indonesia’s aspiration to be at the forefront of the digital transformation era. The existence of a law on personal data is a crucial pillar in realizing a trustworthy and reliable digital transformation and ecosystem. In response to this, a public discussion among various stakeholders organized by the Tifa Foundation on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, agreed to urge the DPR and the Government to prioritize, finalize, and pass the Personal Data Protection Bill.
Bertepatan dengan Hari Hak Asasi Manusia Sedunia 2021, Delegasi Uni Eropa untuk Indonesia, Aliansi Jurnalis Independen (AJI) dan Yayasan TIFA hari ini mengumumkan lima pemenang lomba penulisan jurnalistik #EU4Wartawan 2021. Penghargaan diberikan atas kualitas karya jurnalistik mereka yang mengangkat tema lomba: Dampak Teknologi Digital terhadap Hak Asasi Manusia.
Yayasan Tifa bersama Save The Children Indonesia, dengan dukungan Uni Eropa mendapat kesempatan berpartisipasi dalam acara Festival HAM 2021 melalui kegiatan diskusi bertema “Kolaborasi Multipihak untuk Perlindungan Anak yang Inklusif dan Tangguh Pada Masa Pandemi”. Diskusi ini adalah bagian dari upaya diseminasi informasi program HEAL yang telah diselenggarakan di Provinsi Jawa Timur dan Nusa Tenggara Barat.

The COVID-19 pandemic has put the implementation of public services through digital technology (e-government) to the test and highlighted the importance of data in supporting, shaping, and informing public services. This was certainly unthinkable before the pandemic. The highly contagious nature of the virus necessitated measures requiring everyone to practice social distancing and self-quarantine. Information on infections must be shared openly to prevent further spread.
